Worlds fastest electric scooter, Slack 920R, is made by a company called Numo. There is not much information about Numo online, so we decided to give write an article about them.

Slack Core 920 – Electric Scooter from Numo

The popular model Slack 920 which Numo started developing 2020 for racing purposes (on tracks) became very famous quite instantly.

The CORE series is a platform on which Slack is built upon. CORE is divided into 3 modular parts comprising of the front, middle and rear sections.

The Slack 920 uses a 72 Volts, 45Ah Samsung SDI battery (21700 50E) which gives an impressive peak power and torque, propelling the eScooter to a top speed of 87 mph (140 km/h)

The Slack 920 has a total length of 52.5 in (1338 mm) and a height of 46.5 in (1182 mm).

The brakes on this escooter are Magura MT5e

Slack Core 920R – What’s the difference?

The Slack Core 920R is the flagship model which has won prizes and broken records.

It comes with a 72 Volts, 36Ah battery from Samsung SDI (40T) which improved the performance so much that the top speed of 91 mph (147 km/h) was achieved with greater effect in excess.

The brakes on this model are the Magura MT7.

Slack Core 1220 – Is it more powerful?

The Slack 1220 is another electric scooter from Numo, but it is a descendant of the 920 series eScooter.

The 1220 was produced with the aim to increase comfort while riding at high speeds.

The length has been increased to 59 in (1498 mm) and the height has been kept at 46.5 in (1182 mm).

The specifications of the 1220 are the same as with the 920, with the difference of the dimensions, but also the battery pack.

The battery on the 1220 is a 72 Volts 60Ah battery which gives phenomenal performance and mainly a very long range.

Because the Slack 1220 weighs more and is not made specifically for racing, it cannot beat the 920R in performance factors such as speed or curvature.

So to answer the question: is it more powerful? Yes, it is. But it is not faster!
